Amanda Searle
Amanda is a highly skilled and deeply committed therapist who works with first responders, veterans, and individuals navigating neurodivergence and ADHD. She understands that these populations often carry unique stressors including high performance demands, trauma exposure, identity complexity, and years of feeling misunderstood. Amanda creates a space where clients feel both challenged and supported. She is direct when needed, compassionate at all times, and deeply attuned to the nervous system impacts of chronic stress and trauma.
Her work goes beyond surface level coping strategies. Amanda helps clients untangle patterns that have been reinforced over years, build emotional regulation skills, and develop a stronger sense of self trust and confidence. She has a particular strength in helping clients who are used to being the strong one for everyone else finally feel safe enough to lower their guard. Whether she is working with a veteran processing difficult memories, a first responder managing burnout, or a client with ADHD seeking clarity and structure, Amanda brings focus, depth, and authenticity into the room.
In addition to being an exceptional therapist, Amanda is a natural connector. Her outgoing personality and genuine passion for mental health make her a powerful presence in community outreach efforts at Mindful Transformations. She actively builds relationships with local organizations and advocates for increased access to care, helping extend our mission beyond the therapy room. Her leadership in the community reflects the same dedication and heart she brings to her clinical work.
If you want, I can also weave in something about her approach style, such as structured and goal oriented versus relational and exploratory, depending on how you want her positioned on the team.
Introducing Compassion
Drawing from her background as a veteran, Amanda has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by those who serve, and she is particularly attuned to the needs of veterans. However, her expertise extends across the lifespan, as she works with individuals from children to older adults, addressing a wide range of concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Amanda’s approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, all while maintaining a strength-based, trauma-focused, and culturally sensitive lens.

Amanda has also recently completed training in EMDR and is excited to integrate this powerful, evidence based approach into her work. EMDR allows clients to reprocess traumatic memories and distressing experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally charged or triggering in the present. This training further strengthens her ability to support clients navigating trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety, offering another pathway toward lasting relief and resilience.
