I’m Back! Let’s Talk About My Favorite Therapy Topics

Kallee Jandreau

Hi there!

I’m so excited to share that I’m back from maternity leave after welcoming baby number three into our family. Life has been a whirlwind with trying to figure out how to balance it all (again)! It’s been such an amazing experience that has deepened my connection to the work I do with mothers, caregivers, and anyone navigating life’s many transitions.

As I settle back into my role as a therapist, I wanted to share the three therapy topics I’m most passionate about. These are the areas I love diving into with clients, and I’m thrilled to bring this renewed perspective as I begin taking new clients again.

Women’s Health: Supporting You Through Every Chapter

As a mom of three, I know firsthand how complex and overwhelming women’s health can be, especially when it comes to balancing all the roles we play. When I look at all the hats we wear, I think about:

  • The emotional and mental challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood

  • Managing hormonal changes and their impact on mental well-being

  • Learning how to prioritize you while caring for everyone else

I love creating a space where women feel safe to be vulnerable, ask for help, and explore what they truly need. Whether you’re navigating new motherhood, dealing with burnout, or simply trying to find yourself again, I’m here to help you reconnect with your inner strength.

Financial Stress: It’s More Than Numbers

I’ve worked with so many clients who feel like financial concerns are this huge, looming cloud over their lives, and I totally get it. Money touches everything: your relationships, your self-worth, and even how you sleep at night. Some of the areas I focus on include:

  • Helping you feel less overwhelmed by financial decisions and ways to improve it

  • Addressing guilt, shame, or fear tied to money

  • Creating a space to dream about your financial goals in a way that feels exciting, not stressful

Financial stress is deeply tied to mental health, but the good news is that there are ways to untangle it. Together, we can shift your mindset, so you feel more in control and less weighed down.

Anxiety Disorders: Finding Your Calm

If you’re someone who struggles with anxiety, I want you to know you’re not alone, and it’s something I really love working on with clients. Anxiety comes in so many forms: the constant worry, the racing heart, the sleepless nights, or that sense of dread you can’t quite explain. I focus on:

  • Helping you identify triggers and patterns

  • Teaching practical tools to manage anxious moments (hello, mindfulness!)

  • Creating a plan that helps you regain control of your day-to-day life

After years of working with caregivers and families, I know that anxiety can sometimes feel like a constant companion. But with the right tools and support, it’s absolutely possible to create a life that feels lighter and more balanced.

Find time in your day to do a quick guided meditation, or go on a walk and connect with nature!

A Little About Me

When I’m not working, you can usually find me on the sidelines of any sporting event or managing the everyday activities having three little kids. I’ve spent much of my career working with caregivers, and becoming a mom myself has only deepened my passion for helping others find balance and peace in their lives.

If any of these topics resonate with you, I’d love to work together. Whether you’re a mom navigating the chaos, a caregiver trying to keep it all together, or just someone looking for a little extra support, I’m here to help. Let’s connect and figure out what your next steps look like! You can book with me through our website or by calling the office. https://mindfultransformations.clientsecure.me/

Warmly,

Shannon Macca, LMSW
