Has it really been over a month since this new year started?
Are you still in touch with your intentions for your evolution? See, the thing about transformations is that they imply change. Maybe you want to change, or maybe you don’t, but either way—you are. You are constantly changing and expanding. You can do it consciously or unconsciously. Being conscious about change means taking yourself off autopilot—the conditioning you’ve developed over your life.
Do you notice a recurring theme in your life? That’s your subconscious repeating an old story that feels comfortable. Breaking free from old stories takes different levels of conscious effort, depending on how deeply rooted they are. The first step is becoming aware that you are in an old story, recognizing the old energy, and making the choice to set yourself free.
February: The Month of Love & Self-Love
February is often associated with love due to Valentine’s Day, but let’s redefine it as a day for self-love.
Other ways to celebrate include self-care, fostering relationships with family and friends, and caring for those in your life. However, the most important relationship we have is with ourselves. Everything else comes second. Learning to love ourselves in an authentic way is a lifelong journey that requires continuous work.
Here are some things that have helped me learn to love myself:
- Going to therapy
- Reading Louise Hay’s books (and crying through them)
- Being around people who love me as I am
- Nurturing positive relationships
- Practicing positive self-talk daily
- Using affirmations
- Spending alone time with myself
- Saying no to things that don’t serve me
- Practicing self-care and reparenting myself
- Sending love to my inner child
The Story Behind Our Logo and Its Connection to Loving Yourself
The butterfly is a symbol of transformation. Spiritual transformation, like the physical metamorphosis of a butterfly, is often a difficult and painful process. But transformation requires growth and change. To truly fly free, our souls must embrace the growing pains.
Many of us fear change and subconsciously avoid it. But change is inevitable. Only by stepping into the darkness—like a caterpillar inside its cocoon—can we grow, change, and emerge as something new.
If loving yourself is hard, it’s time for you to enter your cocoon. Turning within helps uncover the origins of self-limiting beliefs and dismantle them. Once you break free from the beliefs that you are not worthy, not lovable, or not good enough, you can emerge as the butterfly you were always meant to be.
Not everything we think is true. If you hold a belief that no longer serves you, it likely came from a dark place. We cannot fear the darkness—we must step into it to bring ourselves to the light. You are worthy of your OWN LOVE. That is the best love there is. Everything else will follow.
Remember, you don’t have to learn to love yourself on your own. We are here to support you!
